Denise Saad, L.Ac.

Denise Saad is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist. She received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Tulane University and moved to Austin, Tx where she worked as a Software Engineer. There she studied and taught martial arts, tai chi and meditation for over 10 years at Shaolin-Do earning Fourth Degree Black in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Her passion for teaching and helping others inspired her to continue to promote health and well being through the study of Chinese Medicine.

Denise earned her Masters of Oriental Medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine of Austin, is National Board Certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine and a member of the Texas Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (TAAOM). She has experience treating in diverse clinic environments balancing multiple patients simultaneously. Denise interned at an integrated healthcare center at Seton Williamson Hospital and People's Community Clinic. While in school she volunteered at Neighborhood Acupuncture Project, a low cost community clinic. In her time there she saw how important it was to make acupuncture available to everyone regardless of financial circumstance. Denise is excited to be able to serve the Houston community by providing affordable holistic healthcare and hopes to inspire positive change in peoples lives.

Rachel Eckroth, L.Ac.

Rachel Eckroth L.Ac. is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner licensed by the Texas Medical Board and nationally certified (NCCAOM). Rachel received her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX. During her training she continued in her career as a professional dancer and relied on acupuncture and herbal medicine to relieve the pain of old injuries, new aches and enhance her physical energy. Rachel believes firmly in the inherent wisdom of the body and that there is a tremendous capacity to heal pain, trauma and disease. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are effective tools for enhancing your innate healing capacity. Rachel is dedicated to working with her patients to find the most effective and nurturing path towards restoring health and well-being.

Maria Posa, L.Ac.

Maria Posa is a licensed acupuncturist and an Oriental Medicine practitioner. She has a bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in Colombia where she practiced for several years before moving to Houston in 2007. After learning about the benefits of acupuncture she saw an opportunity to complement her knowledge and broaden her skills to treat different conditions. In 2014 she got certified as a yoga teacher (RYT 200) and has been teaching different styles of yoga since.

Maria received her masters in Chinese Medicine at the American College of Acupuncture in Houston. She is licensed to practice acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and by the Texas Medical Board. While working in a community setting Maria has gained experience treating a broad range of conditions from emotional and physical pain to digestive, endocrine, and gynecological ailments. She feels constantly inspired by her patients and their ability to improve their health and the quality of their lives.

We have a strict NO SHOW policy. The link in the confirmation email can be used to cancel your appointment online up to 12 hours in advance or we require 24 hour notice of cancellation by phone or email. We will charge you a $25 NO SHOW fee regardless of the reason if appointments aren't cancelled in the appropriate amount of time.
