Denise Saad is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist. She received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Tulane University and moved to Austin, Tx where she worked as a Software Engineer. There she studied and taught martial arts, tai chi and meditation for over 15 years at Shaolin-Do earning Fourth Degree Black in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Her passion for teaching and helping others inspired her to continue to promote health and well being through the study of Chinese Medicine.
Denise earned her Masters of Oriental Medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine of Austin, is National Board Certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine and a member of the Texas Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (TAAOM). She has experience treating in diverse clinic environments balancing multiple patients simultaneously. Denise interned at an integrated healthcare center at Seton Williamson Hospital and People's Community Clinic. While in school she volunteered at Neighborhood Acupuncture Project, a low cost community clinic. In her time there she saw how important it was to make acupuncture available to everyone regardless of financial circumstance. Denise is excited to be able to serve the Houston community by providing affordable holistic healthcare and hopes to inspire positive change in peoples lives.
